After a missing Israeli boy is discovered dead, hundreds of Israeli settlers attack Palestinian towns in the occupied West Bank.

Witnesses report that hundreds of Israeli settlers ambushed and encircled Palestinian towns in the occupied West Bank following the discovery of the body of an Israeli boy who had gone missing from a settlement.

The 14-year-old boy Binyamin Achimair was slain in a "terrorist attack," according to the Israeli military, whose body was discovered in the Malachei Ha'Shalom neighborhood.

The cause of death is still unknown, and there is no proof yet from the IDF that this was a "terrorist attack."

Videos that were later acquired by show settlers in the village of Duma, southeast of Nablus, setting cars and buildings on fire. Video captures the area being filled with gunfire from settlers while thick smoke fills the air. Witnesses reported that when settlers broke into people's homes, there were fights with Palestinians.

In a video that was taken from Duma, one of the men called the conflict a "street war."

Social media videos depict fighting between Israelis and Palestinians in the villages of Beitin and Deir Dibwan, east of Ramallah. Israeli military vehicles are seen firing tear gas to disperse the crowds, while Palestinians are seen hurling rocks at the settlers.

The most recent settler attacks occur one day after a massive attack in the east of Ramallah hamlet of Al-Mughayyir that claimed one Palestinian man's life while Achimair was being sought after. As per the Palestinian Ministry of Health in Ramallah, approximately twenty-five additional individuals were hurt during the outburst.

Benjamin Netanyahu, the prime minister of Israel, said that authorities were looking for the person who killed Achimair and pleaded with Israelis not to get in the way of them.

"It is a severe crime that the youngster Binyamin Achimair was murdered, may God get revenge on those who killed him. In a statement, the Israeli Prime Minister's office (PMO) said, "I send my heartfelt condolences to his family."

The statement went on, "IDF and Shin Bet troops are actively pursuing the heinous killers and everyone who assisted them.

Israeli security forces, according to the prime minister, engage in "intense operational and intelligence activity" in the region and in Palestinian villages. He pleaded with Israeli citizens to permit them to "do their work unhindered."

On Saturday, Yoav Gallant, Israel's defense minister, advised the people not to enforce the law themselves.

"I want the public to help the security forces find the terrorists quickly. Retaliation will make it harder for our fighters to carry out their mission. The law should not be taken into personal hands," Gallant wrote in a post on X.

Videos that were collected by reveal a heightened level of Israeli military activity at a checkpoint northeast of Ramallah, close to the town of Sinjil.

More than a dozen Palestinians, the majority of whom had been shot, arrived at hospitals around the West Bank, according to a statement released by the Palestinian Red Crescent on Saturday.

Violence has been rising in the occupied West Bank and East Jerusalem since the October 7 attacks. The Palestinian Ministry of Health in Ramallah says at least 462 Palestinians have been killed by Israeli forces or in settler attacks.
