The Trump trial verdict has already been determined by Fox News and the right-wing media.

Even if the jury is still deliberating, audiences have already heard the verdict via Donald Trump's media loyalists.

Over the course of the Manhattan hush-money trial, Fox News and the rest of MAGA Media have prepared the groundwork for Trump's historic case absolution.

Popular figures like Laura Ingraham, Sean Hannity, and Steve Bannon have been ridiculing the legal system every day for weeks, painting Trump as an innocent victim of political persecution.  The real facts of the case never make it past the bubble that keeps its viewers in the dark about developments that could be harmful to Trump in this other media environment. Rather, false narratives that are not the whole truth are propagated.

Not only is President Joe Biden guilty of nefariously using the government as a tool to pursue "lawfare" against his political opponent, but Trump is also completely free of any and all crime in the world of MAGA Media. It is explained to audiences that since Biden is unable to defeat Trump fairly, he has resorted to unlawful "election meddling" by sabotaging Trump's legal defense.

It goes without saying that the lies and innuendo upon which these narratives are based are untrue. Biden is not in charge of the legal system. The Manhattan district attorney filed charges in the hush-money case, which is currently pending in New York state court. Furthermore, Trump's former pals, including former National Enquirer CEO David Pecker and one-time fixer Michael Cohen, are the ones earning headlines as they testify against the GOP candidate in the case rather than his left-wing opponents.

However, these false narratives have been fed to millions of right-wing media consumers, influencing how voters view current affairs and, more crucially, how they vote. Voters in the Republican Party get their information from sources such as Fox News, which has dishonestly covered Trump's defense throughout the trial.

On Wednesday's episode of Ingraham's prime time show, a banner demanding to know "Where is THE CRIME?" was displayed beside a graphic including pictures of Biden, Judge Juan Merchan, and Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg labeled "THE REAL FRAUDS."

The next hour, Jesse Watters hinted how "extremely fishy" it was that a judge who supported "stop Trump" was chosen to oversee the case, accusing Merchan of "LEADING THE JURY" in an on-screen graphic.

In a research released last week, the progressive Media Matters said that Fox News has attacked Merchan at least 200 times since the trial began. last is an astounding amount, and it does not include the assaults on other people connected to the case. Furthermore, the analysis only included Fox News; it ignored the multitude of other organizations that comprise the world of right-wing media.

It is tempting to overlook the barrage of assaults Trump's media friends are mounting in their ceaseless attempts to weaken the argument. However, those factors are influencing how a sizable portion of the populace views the historic and high-stakes trial occurring in lower Manhattan. Additionally, they serve as a warning that, should Trump win back the presidency, he will have access to a potent propaganda machine that will stop at nothing to discredit his deeds, no matter how bad they may be.
